Museum of “Things” in
Berlin, Germany

This museum shows part of
its large and rarely exhibited collection of design and everyday
culture of the 20th century in an "Open Storage"
presentation. It was a pleasant surprise to notice, that they also have

“Five monkeys around the globe” statues in Bonn Germany.

We recently visited the 5 monkey statues of our Picture of
the Month for February 2013. Here is a link to Google Street
View showing the location and surrounding of this interesting piece
of art. There is no information available about sculptor or item,
but it looks like the monkeys represent the five continents.

2013 in Borgloon, Belgium

In only about 14 days, on Saturday, April 20,
2013, the Three-Monkey Collectors Day will take place in Borgloon, Belgium.
Everything is well prepared. The organizers count with an
attendance of about 40 participants. If you want to be there,
you’ll have to hurry now, because time is getting tight. Click

Three-Monkeys.Info - six
years old
|

On April 1, 2013, this website www.three-monkeys.info
is six years old. Over these years many
three-monkey collectors and others from all over the world have
contacted us. We also received many emails with questions about the
three monkeys. There are now approx. 550 entries in the Guestbook,
which is in fact more of a Message Board with a lot of interesting
information.
We would like to use this opportunity to
thank the many collectors and other website visitors for all
information and suggestions that have greatly helped to keep this
website interesting and up-to-date. Special thanks go to Yvelyne
Auzou for the translations in French, to Winfried Hamacher for the
fine-tuning of the German texts and to Bruce Kittess for his input
and assistance with research projects.

game with the three wise monkeys, recently introduced by a company
in Holland. Over the past 50 years two more 3-monkey games have

2013 in Borgloon, Belgium

Next years’ meeting will be
held on Saturday April 20,
2013 in Borgloon,
Belgium. That part of the country is famous for its beautiful
blossoming fruit trees and that, as you certainly are aware, can
only be enjoyed during springtime.
The organizers, Eddy Knapen en Jos Schoels
have worked hard to put together a very nice and interesting
program, including a coach-trip in the area and a visit to a local

It is not uncommon that
the three no evil monkeys are illustrated on the cover of a music
CD. But when the CD is titled Three
Wise Monkeys and some of the tracks are called Toshogu Shrine, Mizaru,
Kikazaru, Iwazaru
and Three Wise Monkeys, it definitively looks like a
collectible for any three-monkey enthusiast.

Very recently, University
Games B.V. in the Netherlands has issued a new board game about
hear, see and speak no evil. The game is initially issued in Dutch, French
and Finnish
and the English and German versions are in the planning for 2013.
