Collecting
the wise monkeys for me is a bit more difficult than for most and I'm hoping
maybe you can help me or at least point me in the right direction. I have been
collecting for only the past few years, but when I began I didn't want just
another 3 monkey’s collection, so I decided to only collect sets with the 4
wise monkeys. I occasionally find
these on eBay but thought maybe I could find collectors on this site that may
have some advice for me. How can I put
the word out that I'm interested in the 4 monkey sets? Is there an organized
group like yours that is dedicated to the 4 wise monkeys as yours is to the 3
wise monkeys? I would

also be: the one whose partner is doing all the dusting! (Reflections during a

Nikko Japan I phoned up
and inquired Kanaya Hotel, Nikko, established 138 years
ago, probably the Japan's oldest resort hotel in western style, whether Nikko
area and its Toh-Sho-Guu Shrine premises
(with Three Monkeys) were affected by the quakes? Its public
relation office replied to me that Nikko and its main attractions such as the
shrines/temples and hot spring spas in its great scenery have no affects
from the quakes. So its tourism business and transport access are going on
same as usual. |

Nikko Japan Was wondering if the wise monkey shrine in Japan was damaged in the earthquake? Also for all those who have a K-Mart in their area they have a bath
room set with the wise monkeys. Shower curtain, bath mat, owles,

sorry, but I am not in the mood to cheerfully say, "Thank you for the
Newsletter” I received today. Monkeys
on my bookshelves beside me have experienced the biggest ever shakes and also
seen on TV the Gigantic Evils devastatingly savaging the north-eastern coast
of Japan. The Twin
Disasters, the unprecedented strong and wide area Quakes followed by the
overwhelming Tsunami on March 11th, and then the crippled nuclear power
plant. For the
former, we feel and heartily appreciate that the whole world have likely
become One, showing enormous amount of sympathy and trying to give their
utmost encouraging helps, including various kinds of campaigns to raise
rescue funds in every corner of the earth, to the victim families in
Japan. The latter, however, has been
facing serious problems and also, to our greatest regret and sorrow, harsh
worldwide criticisms. Since March 11th,
though we also felt the foreshock on the previous day, March 10th, we have
been alert every day or even every 3-4 hours due to continual
aftershocks. So, I have actually been
forced to get up 2-3 times at night even because of sudden visits of tremors.
Most probably, tonight, too. I, so
far, do not know when we shall be able to stop flying our flag at half staff. Nevertheless,
I think there must be not a few among the subscribers of your newsletter, who
are kindly encouraging and supporting Japan in this critical situation. I would like to express our deepest thanks
