Hello, how are you? I just wanted to let
you know that a Norwegian billionaire has opened a top class hotel in
Gothenburg called Clarion Post Hotel and in front of the hotel there are
three 12 meter statues of 3 men that cannot hear, speak or see. It is
wonderful and it glows and changes colors just like
in Nice, France. Maybe something that you would like to

Emil, I just viewed
the movie „The Artist" and was very surprised to see „Three Wise
Monkeys" prominently displayed in one scene. One needs to stay sharp;

I was in Japan many years ago. I thought I saw on the facade of a
temple in Kyoto a sculpture of hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil monkeys such as the one in Nikko. Am I
mistaken? If there is a temple like this in Kyoto, please let me know. |

I bought the 3 wise monkeys at a local
bazaar. Shortly afterwards I was robbed of my two beautiful diamond
necklaces. Are the monkeys known for being bad luck, as now I don’t know if I
should throw them away? Ann Webmasters comment: Hello Ann, sorry to hear about your
misfortune. To answer your question: in Japan, the country where the 3
monkeys originate from, they are considered as a very positive symbol. They
are messengers between the God in Heaven and the believers and are trying to
keep all evil away from the people. Maybe the 3 monkeys have brought you good
luck in the sense that you have not suffered any physical harm in this
matter, “only” a very unfortunate material loss. We don’t think you should
throw them away. We hope this answers your question. |

Hello, I live in Canada and have 3 sets of the Wise Monkeys. The wooden ones were a gift from my uncle in England but I do not know
where he bought them. It might have been in California. The stone monkeys
were also a gift and the little brass monkeys I bought here. If you wish you
may use them on your website.

Monkeys Collectors world wide that attended the recent worldwide meeting in
Carson City Nevada this past June 2011.
It was our honor, our pleasure to have
supplied some of our award winning beer that ties in
to something that is Global and look forward to the next meeting to be held
in Chicago in 2012. We look forward to
bringing our beer to you then. We have just opened our Three Monkeys Craft Brewhouse
Taproom and are having a New Years Eve opening, located at 5 East Yosemite

2012 is the
year of the dragon on the Chinese calendar. The sea horse is in Japanese
TATSUNO OTOSHIGO. Literally “illegitimate child of a dragon”. As I am not familiar
with the dragon, I chose a sea horse for creating my New Years card for 2012. With my very

I am so excited to find this
site. Two years ago I created the
slogan "See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil, Write No Evil . . .
But If You Must, Call Us First" for my law firm. We even developed a logo (which I will see
if we can get uploaded - hopefully you will get a chuckle), and we have had
it printed on mugs, paper clips and leather coasters. Clients love it, and I have gotten a lot of
laughs and referrals from it. My law
clerk moved to Japan, and sent me some pics of the
original Toshogu Shrine monkeys. I was
searching for background, and found you guys.
And you are meeting in my home city in July. I am so excited. I think I will have to attend the dinner. Maybe I will bring some of my extra leather
coasters, mugs and paperclips, if anyone wants them. |

is the "Dragon Year". There appear two castles. The first
one is Himeji Castle, National Treasure and inscribed to UNESCO's World
Cultural Heritage. This is located in the city of Himeji, to the west of the
city of Osaka. The second
is Azuchi Castle (now non-existent) built by Oda Nobunaga, an innovative warrior in the 16th century.
He is one of the popular warriors in the history and often dramatized in
movies and TV programs. The third
one is "Tokyo Sky Tree." Now this is under final stage of construction.
It will be opened in next May. I hope the site works normally. I send my
