To My Fellow Monkey Collectors -

To those of you who have made your reservations to stay at the B Historic in Savannah on September 13-16, we are so looking forward to seeing you and being with you.  This is going to be a GREAT Three Monkeys Collectors Get-Together.

To those of you who have NOT made your reservations yet, think again…

This will be a fabulous weekend...we will be meeting in a city where a collector does not live.  Maybe we’ll find a Savannah collector!!!

Kudos to Marlee who has done yeomen work in finding us a fabulous hotel at an amazing cost in the historic section of Savannah.  As I have researched Savannah and talked with many folks in coordinating activities for our weekend, everyone has wonderful things to say about the B Savannah Hotel.

There is so much to do in this historic city of cobblestone streets, river cruises, ghost tales, tales of prohibition, art, food and so much more.

Please review the attached.  In summary, I have offered 8 options for things to do that require purchasing tickets.  Since most of these activities do not have specific start times (except for theater), you may choose several during the course of the day.  These are activities individuals may choose on their own.  There are also several other options on pages 12, 13, and 14 that require NO admission fee.

I have also identified 3 GROUP ACTIVITIES for us to do as an entire group that require a purchased ticket. Please let me know that you agree to participate in each of these events so I can confirm arrangements for our group as a whole:

Friday – Sept 14 – afternoon – Maven Makers - $40/pp

Enjoy wonderful time of fun creating your very own balancing wine bottle holder using               locally   sourced and milled lumber. In this two hour workshop you will not only learn about the history of     this lumber, but be able to turn this wood into a functional object you can take back with you        customizing it with a laser cutter - a “See No Evil” engraved right into the piece you made.

After you enjoy the process of making your wine bottle holder you will receive your own                 bottle of Pinot Evil Pinot Noir and enjoy a time together over wine and cheese before enjoying              the rest of what Savannah has to offer. You will be able to leave with your product also by branding              it yourself with our very own “I Made This In Savannah GA” brand. We look forward to seeing you there.

Friday – Sept 14 – Dinner and Evening - $84/pp

An interactive, fun activity for dinner.  One of Savannah’s best known chefs, Chef Darin will                 conduct an amazing Kitchen Table cooking experience for us where we will prepare a traditional           Southern dinner of Shrimp and Grits, fried green tomatoes, black-eyed pea salad and green           tomato blueberry cobbler.  We may even add a bit of competition, pitting See No, Hear No and      Speak No groups against each other in the preparation!  Much more than just a sit down and eat   dinner – a time for group camaraderie!

Saturday – September 15 – Dinner/Riverboat Cruise - $80/pp

Two-hour Riverboat Cruise aboard the Georgia Queen. The riverboat tours leave the dock                 right next to the exact location where General Oglethrope first landed on the river front and        head upriver, into the Port of Savannah, and then turn around and head back under the Eugene                Talmadge Memorial Bridge and past the historic river front.  The tours continue downriver          passing the world famous Waving Girl, Florence Martus, through the ship yards and just past the      tip          of Hutchinson Island and Old Fort Jackson.  There, the boat circles back upriver to arrive              gently   back at the dock.

We will have Saturday for tours and exploring the city.  And, of course, Sunday for those who have time before departure.
