click everywhere!
|
Professional website makers advise not to use the term “click here” in a website. They
say it has no information value, because everyone knows that it needs “clicks” to go to a next page. However,
in the years that I am running this website I have made other experiences.
Quite often I discover that a number of visitors are not at all familiar
with “clicking”.
The reason maybe is that many of our fellow collectors are from a pre-computer
generation. I would be pleased to do away with the “click here’s”, but I am afraid
that it still is too early for that.
Would
very much like to hear your opinion. (I am tempted to say “click here!”)
