Hi,

I have over 50 items of 3 monkeys in my collection and am prepared to photograph them if anyone is interested, have one in a circle that I think is ivory?

Valuation:

This 3 monkey set in a circle is made of polystone (polyresin – alabastrite) and was most likely produced in Italy between 1950 and 1980. It was exported to countries like France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and the UK. It also exists in a dark brown version. On European flea markets it can be found for US$ 10-20, but it becomes harder to find one in very good condition. Many are dented. An undamaged item may obtain a better price.

Hi Emil,

You know your monkey business, it stands 150mm, has a sticker on the bottom “product of T.A.R.O. made in Italy, slight damage to one monkey tail, no orb but have another 3 set with a glass sphere. Sorry the photos were so bad. Did you notice the ash tray monkeys? I have 4 different ones. We live in Brisbane in Queensland, Australia.
