These monkeys are indeed from Indonesia, where they are being produced in larger quantities. They are offered for sale in many places.

Below are some variations on the same theme. The first two monkey sets are about 30 years old and at that time were made from rosewood.

Nowadays other wood materials are used that are lighter and easier-to-work-with.

deze aapjes komen inderdaad uit Indonesië, waar ze in grotere aantallen geproduceerd worden. Ze worden dan ook vrij veel te koop aangeboden. Hier onder staan een aantal variaties op hetzelfde thema. De eerste twee setjes zijn ongeveer 30 jaar oud en die werden toen nog uit palisanderhout gemaakt. Tegenwoordig neemt men lichtere en gemakkelijker te bewerken houtsoorten.

diese Art Affenfigur stammt tatsächlich aus Indonesien, wo sie in grösseren Mengen hergestellt werden. Demzufolge werden sie auch oft angeboten. Hier unten stehen einige Variationen vom gleichen Thema. Die ersten zwei Affenfiguren sind etwa 30 Jahre alt und wurden damals noch aus Palisanderholz geschnitzt. Heutzutage nimmt man leichtere Holzarten die einfacher zu bearbeiten sind.
