I inherited these monkeys. What can you tell me about them, or who can I get in contact with? I think they are ivory...?

Hello Sarah,

The material used for these monkeys is imitation ivory (manmade).

Your figurines originate from China and can be found in Asia shops all over the world.

They are mass-produced.

What is new to us is the dark coloration of the front of the monkeys.

Enclosed are two pictures of similar monkeys.

One set is made of metal, but the basic design is always the same.

Over the past 15 years many variations of this model have come onto the market.
