We speak of the three monkeys that
keep their eyes, ears and mouth closed.
Since around 1850, when Japan opened up to the rest of the world,
most people in almost all countries know,
or are at least aware,
of the symbol of the three monkeys.
Many ten thousands of artifacts and figurines have
been produced
by artists worldwide, depicting not only
monkeys, but also other animals

多くの人々を魅了してきたことは皆さまもご存知の通り、
実に素晴らしい事ですよね！
遡ることおよそ250年程前、日本は開国を成し遂げ、庚申の三猿も
世界中に知れ渡るようになりました。
今に至っては、猿のみならず、動物や人々など、実に様々な
「見ざる聞かざる言わざる」グッズが各国で作られていて、
そのコレクター数は１千人を超えています。
残念な事に、庚申信仰の発祥の地日本で、この民間信仰が
